Jawoyn Contracting was first established to conduct building and construction works on Jawoyn Country. We had been building and managing infrastructure projects with the Jawoyn Rangers and saw an important opportunity in being able to grow a new dedicated workforce and to apply for public and private projects open for tender across the region, especially those on Jawoyn lands. As advocates for Aboriginal people working to build our country, we also believe it is important to invest in Indigenous employment and training, as well as provide opportunities to those living on Jawoyn lands.

Construction

Construction of new buildings, sheds, carports and driveways, and repair, maintenance and upgrades on residential and commercial buildings and properties, including renovations, reconstruction, demolition and clean up work.

Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, tiling, brick and concreting, stonework, fencing, landscaping and grounds maintenance, irrigation, tree lopping and other services.

Earth/Roads
Works

Jawoyn Contracting has the general civil work capability of a medium class earth mover with sufficient plant and trucks to engage in sealed road and pavement construction anywhere within the Katherine region.

Land Clearing/
Maintenance

Jawoyn Contracting assists with commercial and industrial project land clearing, with a team skilled in removal of all debris, rocks in preparation for construction in remote areas.

Infrastructure

Jawoyn Contracting boasts the experience, together with a local network of professional and skilled operators and drivers to carry out infrastructure works and projects.
